VerjuAt Lipo Laser Review we are constantly on the lookout for emerging products in the beauty industry that relate to body contouring. In fact, this site includes references to a variety of technologies that do just that. And though those technologies differ in a variety of ways, the one thing that seemingly remains constant across the board, is the color of their emitting technology; red. Be it red lasers or red LED’s, the body contouring industry has always associated itself, or been associated with, the color red. But that may be changing!

Erchonia Corp. is breaking with the mold (the red mold that is) with the introduction of its latest device, the Verju. Rather than incorporating traditional red laser diodes, the Verju Low Level Laser emits using green laser diodes. The difference however, does not simply lie in its color.

Arguing that a green photon has more energy then a red photon, Erchonia offers that even though the Verju delivers at a wavelength of 532 nm – versus the red laser devices who deliver in the 630’s nm – the Verju’s use of green photons actually deliver more energy to the cell and therefore liberates more lipid material at the cell site. According to Erchonia’s double-blind clinical study, test results validate that the green laser did demonstrate increased inch-loss versus the sham. In addition, when compared to study results previously attained with their red laser diodes, the green laser actually demonstrated greater inch-loss results than those previously achieved with their red.

It is clear that results are everything in this industry; the days of having a greater number of poor-performing paddles at cheaper prices are behind us. Consumers are now familiar enough with LLLT technology to be able to assess its value based on real results and inches lost. This consumer awareness in turn is pushing manufacturers to push if not adapt their technology; The Verju is a great example of that process.

In a nutshell, it’s different and if nothing else, that alone gets the Verju noticed.

Is the industry going to go green?

To date the rumor mills haven’t alluded to other Lipolaser manufacturers implementing green laser diodes. That being said, the Verju does inspire the questions: How far could green laser technology be pushed? Could we use green laser diodes in other ways to maximize results? What would the results be like if green laser was applied directly to the skin?

More importantly, with different technology at play, the real question to consider is: What are the other players going to come out with next?
